Job Description
Responsible for operating and maintaining Storage Data Protection environments. This role includes monitoring, reporting first-level incidents and alerts, basic administration according to standard work instructions, and assisting LP LM teams during new builds, administration, and decommission activities of Storage Data Protection products.
Additionally, the engineer will plan necessary changes for maintenance, upgrades, and decommissioning of Storage SAN and Backup hardware, as well as managing service orders for new server backup commissioning, zoning, and LUN provisioning.
Skills (Competencies)
Expertise in managing storage solutions and familiarity with NFS, CIFS shares, deduplication, and replication snapshots are required.
