Job Description
Barrick Gold is seeking a Scheduler – Transport to support Supply Chain and Commercials in Karachi. The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma or BA in Logistics/Transport Management and have 3–5 years’ experience in transport operations or fleet supervision.
- Required knowledge: national transport regulations, heavy vehicle compliance, load securing, GPS/tracking systems, and Transport Management Systems (TMS).
- Key responsibilities: develop a two-week dispatch schedule from a 30-day plan; assign trucks, drivers, and convoy IDs; prepare dispatch sheets and compliance checklists; monitor adherence and validate routes and emergency measures; coordinate with transporters and site teams; and report deviations to the Lead – Transport Management.
