Position description
As Manager, you will create and coordinate an integrated BDS program. You will be responsible for promoting the sale of company publications through brand identity, strategic messaging, advertising, and public relations.
The manager is expected to communicate effectively with clients, displaying a strong understanding of modern marketing and sales concepts, practices, and procedures.
All marketing and client interaction is done indoors.
Applicant must have an excellent command of written and spoken English, to
communicate with international clients.
Responsibilities
- Assist in devising the business development strategy in consultation with the Manager.
- Develop new business and long-term account opportunities through prospecting and other outreach strategies.
- Develop training & capacity building.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement marketing plans to maintain and increase existing business and capture new opportunities.
- Manage web/telephone and email-based inquiries related to the assigned projects.
- Undertake desk-based research to support management in identifying new lead opportunities.
- Ensure information related to products/projects is updated on the website regularly. i.e. at least once a week.
- Identifying potential clients, markets, and business relations.
- Manage the social media campaign of the assigned product/project.
- Maintain and increase personal knowledge of priority sectors; market trends and routes to market for improved effectiveness within a sales support function.
- Maintain an excellent client relationship with existing and potential clients.
- Maintain and update clients and contacts database.
Requirements
- Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Business Administration (preferably in marketing) or International degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in business development or marketing.
- Have proven organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Ability to work effectively with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to engage with the respective clients.
- Capacity to identify issues and participate in their resolutions.
- High level of negotiation and networking skills.
- Ability to think “big picture” to generate forward planning.
Commute: On-site only.
