Job Description
Datamatics Technologies seeks a full-time, remote Linux System Administrator with 7–8 years of Linux/Unix administration experience (RHEL, Ubuntu, Solaris, AIX). The ideal candidate will manage and secure enterprise servers, perform installations and kernel updates, monitor performance and security, and implement backups and disaster recovery.
- Automate tasks using Bash/Korn/Perl and Ansible; troubleshoot OS and hardware issues.
- Configure storage, LVM, NFS, virtualization, and maintain user accounts and compliance.
- Required: strong shell scripting, automation (Ansible/Puppet/Chef), networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls), and monitoring tools (Nagios, Grafana, Prometheus).
- Cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
