Job Description
We seek a detail-oriented Medical Coder to accurately translate medical records into ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes for billing and regulatory compliance. The role involves reviewing patient charts, assigning diagnosis and procedure codes, ensuring documentation supports coding, collaborating with providers to clarify records, and resolving coding discrepancies.
- Requirements: CPC or equivalent certification and a minimum of 2 years of professional coding experience.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and insurance billing; proficiency with EHR and coding software.
- High attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
