Job Description
We seek a full-time Billing and Insurance Specialist to manage patient billing, insurance verification, claim submission, and timely follow-up. Responsibilities include preparing and submitting claims, resolving denials, coordinating with insurers and patients, posting payments, and maintaining accurate records in the EHR/billing system.
- Minimum 2 years’ medical billing experience
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Familiarity with insurance policies, claims processes, and billing software
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Preferred: CBCS certification or equivalent and experience with claims appeals
