Job Description
We are seeking a Confluent Kafka Administrator to design, deploy, and operate Confluent Platform and Apache Kafka clusters supporting high‑availability streaming applications. The role collaborates with engineering teams to uphold performance, security, and reliability standards.
- Responsibilities: cluster provisioning and upgrades, performance tuning, monitoring and alerting, backup and recovery, RBAC and security, incident response, and automation via Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD.
- Qualifications: 3+ years managing Kafka/Confluent; strong Linux administration; experience with Kubernetes and Terraform or Ansible; knowledge of Kafka security (TLS/SASL); scripting in Python or Bash; proven distributed system troubleshooting skills.
