Job Description
WFP seeks a professional HTV Driver (6-month service contract, renewable) based at Achini Bala warehouse, Peshawar. The role requires safe, reliable operation of UN fleet vehicles (trucks, forklifts, towing units, and water bowsers) and light office vehicles for local movements.
- Perform daily vehicle checks, basic maintenance, minor repairs, fueling, and cleanliness; complete logbooks and fuel reports.
- Transport authorized personnel, goods, and mail; collect fuel for generator stock; observe security protocols and report incidents.
- Provide basic translation when needed and assist in emergencies with first aid.
Qualifications: Secondary education, valid HTV license, 2+ years driving experience (preferably UN/embassy/international org.), defensive driving preferred, radio/email skills, and fluency in the duty station language and UN language in use.
