Job Description
The Structural Fabricator is responsible for crafting essential components that contribute to the structural integrity of large-scale projects. This role requires precision and expertise in metal fabrication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mark reference points for modifications prior to welding.
- Operate cranes to move pieces during manufacturing.
- Position and tighten parts for welding and riveting.
- Straighten materials due to defects or errors.
- Preheat workpieces for improved malleability.
- Shape and align components using appropriate tools.
- Ensure parts meet specifications using measuring tools.
- Maintain workplace safety and accountability.
